Spokane Salish Conference Registration

This is a CALL OUT OF INTEREST for the upcoming Celebrating Salish Conference 2024.

The Okanagan Indian Band Language & Culture Department is reaching out to community members to see if their is any interest in participating in the Spokane Celebrating Salish Conference this upcoming spring.

The goal of this conference is to promote new speakers to nsyilxcən/nqilxʷcn, collaborate with our neighboring tribal communities, and build ongoing relationships with one another. The Celebrating Salish Conference is the largest language gathering of native speakers in the entire northwest.

Dates: March 6th – 8th, 2024.

Location: Northern Quest Resort & Casino, Spokane Washington, USA.

Note: food, lodging, registration costs, and full with be covered by the OKIB.

Registration for interest in this conference closes on December 14th, 2023.

Please note registering for this conference does not confirm your attendance. The OKIB will reach out to you to notify you if you are a successful candidate.
