Reminder: Referendum on 99-year term leases on OKIB Lands

Dear Okanagan Indian Band Members:

On behalf of the Okanagan Indian Band (OKIB), Chief and Council are holding a Band Membership Referendum to determine, by a simple majority, if voting members are favourable to 99-year term leases on Okanagan Indian Band Reserve Lands.

The Band Membership Referendum will be held on NOVEMBER 14, 2024 from 9 AM to 8 PM at Head of the Lake Hall, 118 Head of the Lake Road.

An information meeting will be held on October 17th, 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Head of the Lake Hall.
