Notice – FortisBC line replacement project set to begin on Round Lake Rd & Emery Louis Rd in July

FortisBC is planning to replace two sections of our natural gas transmission line at Emery Louis Road and Round Lake Road.

The replacements are to meet road crossing classification upgrade requirements due to an increase in population density in the North Okanagan since the pipeline was built in 1957.

Work is scheduled as follows:

– Emery Louis Road is scheduled to begin on Tuesday July 2nd and is expected to be complete by Friday July 19th.

– Round Lake Road is scheduled to begin on Monday July 22nd and is expected to be complete by Friday August 2nd.
