OKIB Youth Activities Pro-D days: Hunting & Gathering Camp day, September 25th.
OKIB Youth Activities will be providing all-day activities for OKIB Youth Grades 1-7 on all SD22 Pro-D Days. Our first Pro-D Day Activity will be on Monday September 25, where we will be spending the day at the OKIB Hunting and Gathering Camp at Carnes Creek near Revelstoke. TSD has many fun activities planned for members that day, including Traditional Foods, Nature Walks, Rattle Making, Salve Making, Basket Weaving, Pouch Making, and more. Youth Activities will be taking a small shuttle up to the camp from the Bluebird Building at 8:00am Monday, and coming back at 4:00pm the same day, for youth who otherwise may not have the opportunity to experience this camp.
