McGregor Creek Douglas Fir Bark Beetle Infestation-UPDATED

A Douglas Fir Bark Beetle infestation has been identified in the McGregor Creek drainage. In May, 2017, OKIB Forestry Limited Partnership, under their agreements with Gorman Bros Lumber Ltd., Interfor Corporation, and Trace Resources Ltd. felled approximately 150 to 200 trap trees to aide in the control of this infestation.
