Communications Advisor, Major Projects – Surrey, BC – Full-Time Regular

This role develops and implements strategic communication plans, establishes and maintains media relationships, identifies public issues, creates stakeholder messaging, and acts as corporate spokesperson. You enjoy researching, writing, editing and overseeing the production of various communication materials, which may include executive presentations, corporate announcements, corporate profiles, annual reports, and news releases. As our Communications Advisor, Major Projects, you’ll work with various departments and media outlets to craft messages to support a wide variety of topics. You’ll also provide leadership to help identify and manage potential risks pertaining to our reputation and business interests and develop communications strategies related to our capital projects.

Technologist 3-Instrumentation & Communication – Surrey, BC - Full-Time Regular – $3,010 bi-weekly This position is responsible for Implementing and coordinating system upgrades, new installations, and operation and maintenance programs related to Communications, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Telemetry, Stations, Gas Odorization, and Measurement Installations. You will assume a leadership role on committees involved with performing a full range of complex technical and statistical functions and keeping up with our Quality Assurance programs.

Co-op Opportunities –Various, BC – Full-Time Temporary

Director, Regulatory Affairs – Surrey, BC – Full-Time Regular

Join us as a Director of Regulatory. Reporting to the Vice President, Regulatory Affairs, you’ll be responsible for providing direction, leadership, and execution of regulatory affairs for FortisBC’s gas and electric utilities.

Customer Service Representative – Prince George or Burnaby, BC – Unscheduled Part-time Regular

As our Customer Service Representative, you’ll put all passion for the customer experience to work and contribute to an environment where customer engagement matters most. In this role, you’ll connect with customers to support their questions, inquiries and concerns through various channels, such as online chat, phone and email. You’ll take charge to resolve customer inquiries with little to no effort from our customers to make their situation easy and worry-free. As a customer yourself, you understand it’s all about our customers and supporting them the right way the first time.
