Way’ incá iskʷist Yetko Robins (nx̌aʕlkʷ). I am newly hired as the Employment Database Administrator, and I am very excited to interact with community members and help with identifying workforce gaps and matching members with the right training and jobs. I have previously worked with OKIB as the Community Workforce Capacity Interviewer, engaging with community members and assisting them with the Indigenous Labour Market Inventory (ILMI) Surveys. More recently I’ve worked as an Office Assistant for Vernon Native Housing.
I am from the Siksika Nation located southeast of Calgary Alberta but was born and raised in OKIB Community the entirety of my life. My grandparents are the late Emery Robins Sr and the late Margaret Snow; my parents are Randi Robins and Derek Campbell.
My hobbies include playing softball, beading, and travelling to participate in powwow’s all over Canada and the United States.
